Situated on the edge of the Stockholm Archipelago, a secluded private log cabin overlooking the sea. Sunsets are gorgeous. Our house sits between granit cliffs, pine trees and blueberry bushes. 150 m walk to the sea for a swim from the dock.
The house is 70 square meters of living space and includes: a fully equipped kitchen; a bathroom with a flush toilet, a sauna, shower; three bedrooms; and a living room with fireplace. There is high speed internet (100/10 mbits), wifi and even a laundry machine.
The house is well heated and insulated (we spend christmas there every year).
There is a terrace on the south side of the house a few steps from the kitchen, which is a great place to eat breakfast. There is also a terrace on the west side of the house, which is a great place to eat lunches/dinners. Both terraces overlook the sea and have been placed to ensure that you can sit in the sun from early morning through to sunset.
The house is children-friendly with swings, a garden full of raspberry bushes, a treehouse, toys, sandbox, etc.
Guests have full access to the entire house.

Mark, the host, will accompany you to the house and make sure you are well installed and comfortable. Mark is available to help out with any problems.
During the summer months, groceries can be ordered online and delivered by boat to the public dock at Kuggvik, ca. 300 meters from the cabin. Search for "Mathem stockholm skärgården"
There is a grocery store in Berg, on the neighbouring island of Möja, which can be accessed by Waxholmsbolaget ferries several times a day.
Please make sure you leave the house clean. Sheets and towels that have been used can be placed in the laundry bag provided.
Clean, drinkable fresh water in the archipelago is a luxury. The house is on an island surrounded by saltwater and the freshwater we have is pumped from our well. The water has been tested and is very good quality.
Please do your best to minimize your water usage, e.g. shorter showers, fill the washing machine to capacity, etc.
Please refrain from cutting down any bushes and don't walk on plants/vegetables/flowers growing in the garden.
We ask that guests leave the house clean, in the same condition as when they arrived.
