The cedar room was built for long distance bicyclists in mind. It is a cozy 10 x 10 room paneled in cedar with two twin beds, mini fridge, microwave, and cable TV. Restrooms are located outside and around the corner. We do not provide snacks, dishes, utensils or kitchen facilities and the bathroom is like what you would find in any campground. The rooms is clean, safe and affordable and there is a pub/restaurant/store on site in case you forgot something.
We call it the cedar room because the walls and ceiling are lined in sweet-smelling cedar. It has cable TV, a mini fridge and a microwave. The room is located on the lower level of the North Lodge. Bathrooms are outside the room and around the corner (within 12 feet). The building is old so sometimes you can hear noise from the upper level apartment. We've placed an air cleaner in the room to create some white noise when you're sleeping.
The bathroom code is 7654. Guests have full access to public areas including store, pub, restaurant, docks, lakefront park and boat ramp. We have some excellent walking/hiking trails and beach access points just a short drive away. Cell phone service is limited along the coast. Here, it works best on the front balcony of the main lodge. Kitchen hours are Wednesday through Monday, 7:30 am to 8:00 pm...closed on Tuesdays. The Pub is open 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Pub, Restaurant and camp store on site. You can rent a kayak, canoe, peddle boat, SUP, or motor boat and explore Siltcoos Lake. People come from all over the world to paddle the Siltcoos River Canoe Trail). We encourage you to come into the Pub, have a refreshment and socialize with us. We're a very friendly bunch!
Check in by 9:00 pm - no exceptions. This room is located in a campground where we do strive to maintain the rustic American camping experience. The marina has been here since the late 1800s and has a very rich history. This is a wilderness area so we have all kinds of wildlife roaming the campground including deer, raccoons, cougar, and bear. We also have bugs like sugar ants so please don't leave sugary food or drinks laying around or they will be drawn in. If you are sensitive to these types of environments then we suggest one of our wonderful hotels in town. On the other hand, if you enjoy camping then you'll love this place. There's a reason it's the cheapest room on the coast. We keep it clean but there are no snacks, dishes, utensils or kitchen facilities and the bathroom is typical for a campground. So, please don't leave a poor review stating there are no snacks, dishes, utensils or kitchen facilities and the bathroom is dirty (it's cleaned once or twice per day or as needed).
Please, no smoking or open flame in the room. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.

In 2015, my husband and I quit our professional careers to buy an abandoned, 100-year-old resort on the Oregon Coast. Since then we've worked tirelessly to breath new life into this once-popular destination. We love the peace and tranquility that comes with this lifestyle. The best part is meeting such interesting people from all over the world. We strive to provide safe, affordable lodging and helping to create lasting memories. It's a work-in-progress and we're getting better every year.
