The cottage is on the west harbour 15 minute drive from Dunedin. Short drives take you to unspoilt beaches and scenic reserves. Three minutes drive takes you to historical and quirky Port Chalmers with its many pubs, cafes and galleries. Less than a kilometer away from the cottage is the start of a track through native bush to the top of Mount Cargill with panoramic views of the Otago Harbour. The newly renovated cottage is warm, sunny, cosy and comfortable.

Tucked away in beautiful Port Chalmers, Dunedin, New Zealand, is my historic one bedroom fully furnished apartment, a cosy retreat with all day sun! Relax on the veranda or visit interesting shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, or the supermarket, all just a 10 minute walk away. Surf beaches, walking tracks and fishing are at your doorstep, maybe catch the boat to Portobello and bike to town or drive 10 minutes and be at the stadium!

Our house began in the 1860's as a fisherman's cottage built for the local lighthouse keeper. Over the years it has eclectically grown into a unique rambling retreat. We have a spectacular north-facing view of the ocean with all day sun, no matter the season. This creative space, filled with birdsong, is for couples, solo adventurers, families, artists, writers, photographers, outdoor lovers or anyone looking to re-charge in paradise.
