Alpaca, Llama Adventure
Come and join us for an intimate and educational experience on the day and the life of an Alpaca caregiver! We provide an opportunity for people 5 and older to feed, occasionally pet, halter train and a guided walk with Alpaca and Llama! In addition we will share some unique and educational information regarding camelids! We may also stop to greet our unique and crazy flock of chickens! Book a private experience for special occasions, birthdays, engagements!! We have limited availability during the week, however can accommodate larger groups via request Other things to note Please wear appropriate shoes (sorry no Flip flops or sandals) or bring an extra pair! We do have a public restroom and do have facilities to wash up before and after your experience. Our event is for children 5 and up. Please contact the hosts for questions regarding children under the age of 5. Due to the stress caused to our animals we do not permit dogs on the ranch. Thank you for understanding. If you need to reach us during on the day of your visit please call us as we do not always get the messages through Airbnb in time. If you are unable to reach us by phone make sure to leave a message. Please keep in mind that Alpacas look different throughout the year.
Brewery Tour & Tasting
Learn about the brewing process, Philly's brewing history, Dock Street's 30+ year history, and some of our most memorable beer recipes (Wu Tang Clan beer, anyone?) on this unique tour of our brewing facilities at our flagship Dock Street South. During this, we'll sip-and-savor a flight of 6 fresh beers from our draft list. I will tell you about our recipes, the ingredients, and the inspiration behind our beers. You'll get a Dock Street logo pint glass to take home as a souvenir! Other things to note: - We suggest all guests are at least 21 to have the full experience (i.e., the flight of beers!) Tip/tax included but additional tips are appreciated! No refunds for cancellations with less than 24hrs notice. - Our Airbnb tours are limited to a max of 15 people on the tour, so you'll have plenty of time to hear the tour, get up close and personal with the brewery, enjoy the beers, and have fun!
Artisan Sourdough Bread Workshop
After arrival and introductions, we'll start the process by showing you how to properly slash your dough and get it into the oven. this will allow our first loaves to bake and cool in time for sampling, because who wants to attend a sourdough class and not get to eat any of it? :) Next, we'll begin the process of mixing ingredients, going over the recipe and process. during the periods when the dough will be resting ill conduct a demonstration for a fun live cultured beverage, you can make at home or simply enjoy it during the baking class. Since there is so much time involved in producing a loaf, I'll be moving along with the steps as quickly as we can and spending most of the time between processes answering questions and explaining the why behind the techniques. classes typically last between 3-4 hours so light refreshments will be served throughout the class. You will leave class with, starter, instruction printout, a loaf of bread to bake the next and a bread proofing basket. Other things to note Let me know if you have any food allergies.
Whiskey Walk
Explore Downtown Pittsburgh with a whiskey history tour! You’ll learn why Southwestern Pennsylvania is considered the birthplace of American Whiskey, what the Whiskey Rebellion in Pittsburgh was all about, and how Prohibition affected the region in the 1920s. Scout out hidden former (as well as existing!) speakeasies around the city, and discover how whiskey has fueled political, labor and social movements throughout the region. Get to experience the revival of craft spirits in Pittsburgh and find out about the history of a local and family-owned distillery as well as the first privately owned liquor store in PA. We will begin tour with a variety of whiskey samples and end our walk in a restored Prohibition-era downtown speakeasy. This tour is roughly 2 hours long and approximately 1.5 miles of walking. Please note: a. This is NOT A BAR CRAWL but rather a whiskey history tour with a few tastings. b. This tour begins at 1049 Penn Avenue and ends at The Speakeasy at the Omni William Penn Hotel where locally and regionally produced whiskey will be sampled. c. Every participant will have to sign a waiver. d. Intoxicated Intoxicated people are not allowed on tour. No refunds will be issued in this case.
Conquer the Steps: Rocky Running Tour
Join me for a 4 mile run sprinkled with Rocky and Philly stories most locals don’t even know! You’ll become a local champ weaving through the Italian Market streets of Philly with me. And we’ll cap it off with a run up the famous Art Museum Steps. In addition to being the home of the Rocky films, did you know Philly invented the Cowboy Hat and Fast Food? We explore those little known facts and hundreds more. We cover a large part of Philly with a focus on Rocky, all in just over an hour! I'll tie together the unique Philly story as we run through its Colonial Old City, South Philly, and its Commercial Center. We tap into themes like freedom, the underdog story, and many American Firsts. Philly's beautiful, flat & straight streets are full of sites - perfect for running tours! Whether you're here on vacation, business or even a local, there's no better way to learn about Philly while breaking a sweat! You'll walk away refreshed, and your expectations will be exceeded! Have you wanted to try wheel throwing? If mud ain't flying then you ain't trying! Beginners welcome! 90 minutes of working on a pottery wheel with instruction. Keep your favorite, glaze and firing included. $60/person. 2-4 wk turnaround, patron responsible for cleanup and shipping cost.

This experience captures a piece of the Philly culture and is lined up so that every stop is a hop and skip away from the next. Each section of the city has 5 of our favorite bars with a secret bar or speakeasy along the tour; That even people that live in the city don’t know about. In this experience you’ll have an opportunity to explore the Poconos with a photoshoot. You will have 25 selects to choose from within 48 hours after the shoot. PhillyPhilly Cheese Steak/Cake
You will be welcomed in my home to master the art of cooking an authentic Philadelphia meal. The experience includes learning how to cook a Philadelphia Cheesesteak, “crab fries”, and bake a Philadelphia Cheesecake. All made with locally sourced ingredients! BYOB is highly encouraged! We can even recommend some of the local wines & beers that pair well! Other things to note The experience will include meat, poultry, dairy, gluten, and may contain nuts. If there are any food allergies or preferences please let us know ahead of time as we purchase the ingredients fresh and will not be able to accommodate if notice is not given.
The true taste of Italy
Guests will learn to make pasta from scratch. This is authentic, Italian-style pasta! They will have an opportunity to also cut pasta by hand and see how to cut it with a machine. Guests will get to garnish their pasta according to their way choosing between cheese, sauce, basil, oregano and more… The host will supply all tools and ingredients needed. This is also a BYOB experience so bring wine, beer or wine coolers for 21+ Non-alcoholic for under 21.
Follow the footsteps of the Founding Fathers with me
I am offering walking tours of the old district of Philadelphia in French , Spanish & English Meet in front of the Bourse before heading to Liberty Bell where I will go over the importance the bell had acquired throughout the years (especially with the Abolitionists & the Civil Rights movement). Next, we will circle around the Independence Hall Park, the Signer statue and the Carpenter's Hall where the First Congress was held. We'll walk by the First Bank of the United States (under renovation after the success of the musical) to head to the Benjamin Franklin's Museum We will spend an hour learning about his life and incredible achievements before going to Christ Church and Elfreth's alley (the oldest continuously occupied residential street in the country). Finally, a stop outside the house of George Washington's seamstress Betsy Ross is said to have sewn the very first American flag (although it was intended to be for the Navy). We'll walk through Arch Street, the Quaker's meeting place and pay our respects to Benjamin Franklin by stopping by the cemetery where he is resting. We will end the tour with a visit to the magnificent City Hall. I used to present this tour to guests from all walks of life coming from NYC and I enjoyed it tremendously. Sharing my passion for William Penn's green country with others is priceless.
Cow cuddle and destress with rescue brown swiss cows
Cow Cuddling Therapy - Guests will meet and actively interact with docile, loving and affectionate rescue brown swiss cows, oxen and calves. Guests arrive to our Working Farm & Sanctuary, and are given an educational and fun tour by tractor or foot of the 350 acres, where they will be introduced to how humans, cows, the land and nature co-exist harmoniously. After the tour, guests are escorted to our newly constructed cow barn to lay in the comfortable straw with each of the cows as they rest and ruminate. This close contact and touch relieves stress and uplifts the spirit of the cow cuddler. This therapy is known as Koe Knuffelen and is extremely supportive of improved mental health. The experience concludes with a delicious plant-based / vegan meal prepared by the Sanctuary's Culinary Center from produce raised organically on the very same land and/or sourced locally from other farmers. The entire experience lasts 4 hours and costs $60 per person, $200 for 4 persons and for 5 persons and more, please call for rates.

Sanctuary Private Tour, Up to Ten People
Upon Arrival guests will be greeted by one of our co-founders or animal caregivers at our historic event barn. Guests will receive a brief introduction to the nonprofit and the property. You will be able to enter animal enclosures and meet some of the animal residents, while learning about animal agriculture and hearing some of the unique rescue stories at Tamerlaine. Many of our animals love human attention! Feel free to bring a picnic and enjoy lunch (vegan) while taking in beautiful views of the property. Learn about the lives of farmed animals and animal rehabilitation, while listening to unique and inspiring recovery and rescue stories that will warm your heart. There is parking on site when you arrive. Arrive 5- 10 minutes before the tour to fill our our waiver and use the restroom. At check out (1) ticket is applicable for a group of ten (10) or less. If you are looking to have a larger group, please inquire.

Philadelphia History, Highlights, & Revolution Tour
On this tour, we’ll explore Independence National Historical Park and the Old City neighborhood to see a plethora of historical landmarks! Along the way, your guide will keep you posted on the history of these sites and fill you in on all kinds of useful info for your visit to Philly. After circling Independence Hall, we’ll make our way through other areas of the park. You’ll learn about the history of the Liberty Bell and how it has been used over the years. We’ll see Carpenters Hall, where the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was founded. Next, we’ll head to the Museum of American Revolution, which offers an incredible look at the stories, artifacts, and people that shaped the American Revolution. We’ll go inside to see a presentation of George Washington’s War Tent ( when your tour is over, you’ll be able to get a discounted ticket to see the rest of the museum). As we walk through Old City, we’ll also pass by some favorite sites outside Independence Park, such as Elfreth’s Alley (the oldest continuously-occupied residential street in the entire US), showcasing incredible architecture dating back to the early 1700s, the Betsy Ross House, named after a famous seamstress and flag maker who is said to have sewn the first ever American flag, Benjamin Franklin’s Grave (bring a penny to toss!), and the outdoor President’s House Landmark where Washington and Adams lived.
