The Hideaway at Mill Creek

We welcome 6 persons, however 4 adults max. Here you will find nestled in the woods atop a beautiful hill overlooking Mill Creek, a short distance from the Chesapeake Bay, an architect's home. With beautiful sunrises and sunsets, this hideaway gives you an escape from everyday life. Relax on the patio with a book, out on the water kayaking, fishing or crabbing off the dock or sitting watching the wildlife. You will never forget the views or the sight of the sailboats in for a rest from the bay.

Creek cottage getaway

House address is 520 Paynes Creek rd. Down sandy road house is to the left. Last house on road. Comfortable cottage on Paynes creek going out to Rappahannock River. 1 bedroom with queen sized bed and sofa that folds out to a full sized bed in the living room. House has high speed fiber internet. There is a dock with crab pots to use. Crab season Is May 15 - Nov 15. No crabs outside of those dates. Please do not use boat. It leaks. It's not safe. 7812 River road is laundromat. Use front door.

Waterfront Cottage w Hot Tub, Kayak, Fishing

Come relax in our delightful waterfront home decorated with classic cottage décor. Sit out on one of the two big screened-in porches, go for a swim in the shallow brackish (mostly fresh) water, take a dip in the hot tub, or throw one of our crab pots in the water and enjoy the spoils of the waters off the Potomac River. Our house is situated off the Potomac on Hull Creek, which means the water is nice and shallow for little ones to play, and there are plenty of crabs to be caught!

Nestled on acres and acres of waterfront, this magical property has its own cove for all the swimming, kayaking, SUP boarding and fishing you can manage. The cottage is located near "downtown" Reedville and provides a clean, comfortable and economical getaway. Come and enjoy water related activities and beautiful sights of Virginia's Northern Neck and the Chesapeake Bay. Tour the Watermen's Museum; cruise across the Chesapeake Bay to Tangier Island; walk, bike or kayak around Reedville, take a fishing charter or launch your boat nearby; enjoy great waterfront seafood restaurants; or just relax with a book.

Enjoy nature at the cottage positioned on Cod Creek with quick access to the Potomac River. Kayak, paddle board or canoe the creek to see local wildlife. There is a private floating dock on property to access the river. Enjoy fishing and crabbing off the stationary dock. Whether you need a change of scenery while working virtually with our high speed internet and fully equipped kitchen, or just some R & R, “Dinna Fash” is it! Bring your kayaks and paddle boards to explore the beautiful waterway that opens up to the Chesapeake Bay. Watch the boats troll by from our natural rock fire pit and comfy Adirondack chairs.
