Forge a silver ring with Jewellers
Learn how to make a sterling silver ring from scratch, with our AWARD WINNING EXPERIENCE! Start off by marking your silver to the length you require by choosing which finger you would like it on. Then, you'll use a handsaw to cut it to size, you'll learn how to form the ring, using a mallet to shape it to the ring mandrel. You'll watch as it is soldered in front of you by an expert tutor—all the time, she will explain exactly what she is doing. Then you'll learn to file it by using different hand files—this is fun, as it is when you get to individualize your ring, deciding what curve you would like it to have. This can make a great difference to the end result. Next, you'll choose from three very different textures. You get to use your creativity with the planishing hammer to achieve the texture you require. People love this part as it's when you make your ring truly individual. Finally you get to choose your polish. Some people like it polished only on the inside, to give it an artistic/rustic look. Others like the glittery sparkle of a fully polished ring. It's your decision. Then the best bit—you get to keep your ring! It's the ultimate souvenir for remembering your trip to Ireland. Enjoy! Other things to note We like to keep our classes small & intimate so our clients get the most out of the experience. Therefore, we kindly request if you are in a group, please book under the one person. If this isn't possible, please do message us, so we can ensure you are kept together for the experience! :)

Galway's legendary walking tour !
The legendary tour centers around the tale of the Lynch family. Its a fascinating tale of how Walter Lynch is accused and tried for the murder of a visiting Spaniard who was a little too interested in his beautiful wife to be...or was he ? The story ends in a dramatic climax...but you will have to take the tour for that finale ! We also look at the legend of the Claddagh ring with a tale connected to Caribbean pirates, North African slave owners and a gold ring that speaks of eternal love. Christopher Columbus makes his appearance too, looking for a new way to China, but worrying that Atlantis might stand in his way. These and other tales are woven together in a 80-90 minute walk through the city. Its taken at a gentle pace to bring in all the major places of interest and embed them into the story of our city. Other things to note Dont worry about it raining - we have plenty of places to hide out of the rain !
Legend's, Ghosts and Ghouls Walking Tour
Experience Dublin's mysterious legends and myths on this 90 minute walking tour. Join me on an adventure across Dublin city hearing the myths and the terrifying legends that stalk our streets. These stories were traditionally told around a fire but we will be heading to the spaces where these things happened, hearing the stories and seeing for ourselves. Embrace the supernatural and come on a ghostly adventure with us. Some of what we cover: -Maud Gonne's shocking ghostly secrets -The unexplained terrors that have been seen in the Shelbourne hotel -The grisly hangings near St Stephens Green -The gruesome tales of the Tenements -The 'Resurrection Men' -Charlie Parker and the haunting of the Olympia Theatre -The Zombie experimenter of Anglesea Street -Darkey Kelly and her basement of bodies -The Dolocher, The Demon pig of Dublin & So much more!
