Soju Tasting at Distillery - Story of Three Pigs
** Soju distillery tasting experience in Seoul ** Samhae Soju: 1000+ Years of history ** Hongdae(Hongik University station) *** Our premium Soju's strength is between 45~50%. I welcome anyone with curiosity but if you generally don't enjoy strong liquor such as tequila & whisky, I recommend another tasting focused on the lighter alcohol called Makgeolli. Link below. Airbnb.com/experiences/4460608 Or click my profile picture to check it out. Korean alcohol is a lot more than just a green bottle of soju, which is diluted ethanol with artificial sweetener. Broadly, Korean alcohols are divided into Tak-ju (unfiltered/Makgeolli), Cheong-ju (filtered) and So-ju (spirit). Here, we will focus on our specialty, soju, but we will also taste other types. Samhae soju was a beloved choice of spirit among the noble class of Joseon dynasty(1392~1894) and this luxury soju had a cult following. The current master, Hyeonjong Kim, had learned and practiced for more than 10 years under master Taeksang Kim who had inherited and kept the recipe in the family. We will have a privilege to taste the history. *For private groups, please make a private group reservation or message me. I can make changes according to your group needs.

Create a mother-of-pearl inlaid plate
This two-hour workshop is designed for beginners. We will take a brief look at the history of Najeon Chilgi—the Korean wooden lacquerware inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Made from the shining, unchangeable beauty of pearl oyster or abalone, mother-of-pearl is smooth, iridescent, and is considered to be the jewel of the orient. The traditional Najeon Chilgi technique is complicated and takes a long time. During this workshop, we will use a technique that cuts the mother of pearl and we'll stick in these pieces to decorate a wooden tray or a plate, coasters like a little mosaic. I will also have prepared the pre-cut pieces of shell, which will be easy to stick. All materials and tools will be provided and you will be offered a choice of different designs. Of course, you can also bring an image if you have one in your mind. You will enjoy a well-deserved drink after you've finished creating your masterpiece, which you'll get to take home with you. -Other things to note- •The shape of plate/tray will be varied depends on its supply. •Please be informed that we have stairs in the place, sorry for any inconvenience. •Let me know if you’re allergic to cats -We have quite shy one in here (so I’ll make sure he’d hide inside as he usually do).
Carve a stone seal with a craft woman in Insadong Seoul
In this workshop, I will not only teach you how to write beautifully, but also how to experience the joy of carving a handcrafted seal. You will create a design using your name. During this activity, your mind will relax and you will experience healing through the slow analog, tactile sensibility of everyday life. I will teach you how to design and carve your name with a engraving knife on a small stone. First, I shows two ways to engrave the seal and demonstrates how to carve with a carving knife.(straight line, circle, etc.) Then I helps you learn to hold the engraving tool and practice properly. Next, I show the way to design the names and help to design according to syllable of name. You go for it and then cover with ink of Korean style and take a stamp. Once the engraving is over, you can choose a elegant case for your stone seal. It will be an opportunity to rethink the meaning of your name that you have forgotten while carving the seal. When you return home, you'll enjoy looking at the stamp you carved and remembering your travels. I'll write down a message for you in K-calligraphy after you have stamp your seal on a postcard I prepare. You have to park the public parking lot when you use a car. Public transportation is convenient. Let's meet in front of Anguk Station, Subway Line No. 3, Exit 6. Other things to note -The name stone is not as hard as you think. -Even a 10-year-old can use a tool to carve an own seal. -It is possible for families to enjoy Korean culture together. *You can wear a face mask and participate in the experience if you need. *We are offering hand sanitiser .

K-Beauty Personal color, Must-do course in Korea
If you came to Korea, Beauty Kingdom, you should take this course! Warmton, Coolton. Maybe you've heard this word quite a lot, right? :) If you watch the videos of Korean beauty YouTubers, it must be a pretty familiar word. Personal colors are widely known through SNS nowadays! The tip of this class can help you make a lifelong image! And make it way easier shopping in Korea! Personal color refers to a set of colors that harmonize with the natural tone of color each individual has, making the skin tone even more bright. When personal colors make good harmony with one's natural colors, they make the person look lively and bright. But, when they do not go well with the natural skin tone, they only take away the clearness of the skin, making skin faults more visible. Thus, knowing your own body color is helpful for making a good image. First, personal colors can be mainly divided into two categories: warm and cool tone. And This course will let you know more specific categories that you are in, and will help you shine more brightly ! It is a course that can simplify your shopping ! (color of clothes, matching of clothes, and makeup products etc.) Don't wear only black, white, and gray clothes anymore! Find a color that suits you and try various Colors :)! And don’t forget to bring ur makeup pouch! I can diagnose your make up products:)
