We request quiet after 9 pm. You are in a forest, surrounded by towering gum trees and ferns, on the slopes overlooking a fertile valley, with the River Leven meandering through the plain. Beef and dairy cattle, pigs, goats and potatoes are farmed. A few minutes walk takes you to two sets of falls cascading down Preston Creek. Your accommodation is new and built as a guesthouse. The spectacular Leven Canyon is 20 km away and has short and long bush-walks. Cradle Mountain is a 75 minute drive.
