This 9 day kayak expedition is one to check the Canadian North off your bucket list. We'll fly with a float plane air charter to the fabled East Arm of Great Slave Lake. This place is on the cusp of being home to Canada's newest national park: Thai Dene Nene, otherwise known as "the land of our ancestors" by the local Chipewyan Dene who will co-manage the park. Stunning granite cliffs, glittering Northern lights and world-class trout fishing are highlights of this expedition. The trip is open to beginner and intermediate paddlers.

The East Arm is a remote location, so previous paddling experience in a kayak is an asset. Participants are not required to be proficient or highly-skilled paddlers, but should be familiar with the basics of kayaking and paddled in a kayak at least once before.
