Love the art, great tour, we wanted to spend more time at museum and booking the private option is the best thing we did. I recommend to book private so that you control the day and time, overall was great day.

We had a nice guide. The transportation from and back to hotel was a nice service because we don’t like to wait on the meeting point. The mosque and Louve Museum was very nice and we enjoyed our day

This experience was really disapointing. It wasn't my first time in Abu Dhabi but the worst. Anyone who would like to visit the Mosque and the Louvre coming from Dubaï should definitly pick another one or organize it on his own. We were picked up at our hotel at 8h30 and drove around the city to pick up other participants. 1h30 later, we were back in our neighborhood (??) to take a bus to go to Abu Dhabi with at least 20 other people. The bus was old, dirty and really uncomfortable. When we arrived to A.D., the guide pretended a bathrooom stop but actually took us to an art gallery/souvenirs shop. A total waste of time. Then we headed to the Mosque where we were asked to be back in the bus in an hour, otherwise it would leave us behind. One hour is not enough to visit the mosque, especially because it takes at least 30 minutes walking to reach it and come back from it. The visit was just a quick photo stop. Then we were taken to a restaurant only for tourists where we were almost forced to eat when we did not want to. We were excited to go to the Louvre after that but the guide made us do another stop in some kind of grocery store to buy dates where everyone jumped on us with mangos that they cut in order to make us buy it. Another pointless stop and total waste of time that surprised everyone. We finally headed to the Louvre where we were given less than 2 hours to visit the museum when it was actually the first purpose of us booking this experience. The museum is great and we were really sad that we couldn't appreciate all the treasures that it holds by lack of time that was just wasted here and there with meaningless stops during the day. Conclusion, if you really want to enjoy the beauty of Abu Dhabi, avoid this experience, pick another one. It's way to expensive for what it is and you can get way better deals.

This was great experience. We were picked up on time and we had enough time at each location. Didn’t like the art gallery though. Everything else was good

Pros: Whoever works behind the scenes of this experience seems to know what they’re doing. Before the experience, I had contact with the “host.” I had a little bit of a unique need on the day of this tour. I needed to stay in Abu Dhabi after the tour to catch a late flight and thus needed to bring my backpack along with me. I reached out before booking to ensure that this could be accommodated. The host assured me that it could be. I received adequate communication about pick up and even that the driver would be late because he was late picking someone else up. All the communication beforehand was positive. Cons: The day started to unravel once it actually began. The pacing of the day was entirely off and the whole thing was a money grab. This isn’t a tour. You’re essentially booking someone to taxi you around for the day and tell you what time you need to be back at the car. As a result, because we were late from the pickups, we just had our time cut short at various places. Here are just some of the examples of what was frustrating during the day: 1. We had only an hour at the Louvre which was shorter than we had been told 2. The tour guide took us to a lunch place that was predetermined by the operator (we had NO say in it) and expected us to pay an additional $20 USD out of pocket for a buffet. Talk about undisclosed costs. Of our group of 8, 6 people were unhappy with the lunch spot and ended up leaving. Before that, the manager tried to bargain down the price to get us to stay. We found lunch for half the price around the corner 3. The date shop and the art gallery we went to weren’t in any way enriching for anyone who wasn’t willing to dish out money. It was just people trying to sell you things. 4. At no point were we given any kind of educational overview of Abu Dhabi. Nothing about the history or locations we were going to. Just a "get back to the car at this time" I also had a personal problem with the tour guide. My circumstances were unique, and I recognize they were already accommodating me by allowing me to stay in Abu Dhabi and keep my (minimal) luggage for the day in the van. That said, the tour guide asked me, “Where do you want to go at the end of the tour?” Thinking I had a choice based on this phrasing, I asked if they could drop me off at Yas Mall, which had been our first stop on the tour. I figured that if we had come this way into Abu Dhabi from Dubai that it was likely that they would leave this way from Abu Dhabi to go back to Dubai and that it would be a good spot to stay until I needed to go to the airport for my flight (they had notified me when I booked that I couldn’t be dropped at the airport). He then said he didn’t want to do this because it wasn’t on the way. I said, “No problem. What location is on the way? I’m flexible.” He said that he would leave me at the final point of the tour (The Grand Mosque). Fine, not an issue. Yet, throughout the day, he continued to ask me about where I wanted to go as if he was offering me some kind of option. And whenever I suggested going anywhere but the Grand Mosque, he said no. So, in reality, I only had a single option provided by the tour, and it was to stay at the Grand Mosque. Why ask if you aren’t willing to be flexible or follow through on any suggestions?? It became a frustrating and unnecessary fight that numerous other tour operators I’ve worked with would’ve remedied by either setting clear expectations OR working with me on a mutual location. The complaint isn’t that I couldn’t be taken to another location. The complaint is that you pretended to offer me options when in reality you offered none. I, in no way, recommend this experience to others looking for a Dubai trip to Abu Dhabi. You can do better. I selected this tour based on the need to store luggage -- do yourself a favor and look at the handful of other 5-star tour operators.
