Over a day you can learn basic weaving techniques to create an animal sculpture, for example a hare (my most popular sculpture workshop), a pig, a dog.
Learn weaving for the garden, pea climbers. obelisks, trellis, bird feeders.
More abstract sculptural weaving.
A small basket, either a frame basket or a bread basket.
Over 2 days you can create a larger basket like a log basket.
all tools, materials, beverages and cake are included.
Todmorden has some great foodie places to eat out too!
Price for 1 to 1 is £150
Price for small group (over 3 people) is £75 per person

I've been teaching weaving with willow for over a decade. I teach both sculpture and basketry and over the years I have developed a range of unique sculpture courses that I have become particularly known for. I teach from my Victorian shop/studio right in the heart of Todmorden, West Yorkshire and I'm approximately a 5 minute walk from the train station.
Over a day it is possible to weave an animal sculpture or a small basket. Over 2 days a larger basket is possible, for example a log basket.
1 to 1 sessions are available and I can also teach small groups.
