My private wine tours feature visits to world’s famous Saint Emilion vineyard in a very cozy and friendly atmosphere. I will meet you at Place de Stalingrad at 9am and will drive you to Pomerol to discover the gem of the appellation (a short stop). We will then take off to our first visit - a family-run estate, discovering the vineyards, vat rooms, learning about wine making process, followed by wine tasting (2-3 wines). Next we’ll take a walk in the beautiful, picturesque medieval village of Saint Emilion (UNESCO World Heritage Site) discovering its main monuments. You will also have a chance to sample Saint Emilion’s speciality - the delicious macarons. We’ll then make a stop at a local bakery for a quick lunch/snack and will head to the second chateau (Grand Cru Classé) for a visit and wine tasting (3-4 wines). I will guide you throughout this trip by giving you lots of interesting information that will help you understand the region and its wines. We will return to Bordeaux (Place de Stalingrad) at around 2:30pm.
