Yoga can be more than a lifestyle choice: It can also be a lifestyle medicine that promotes brain health, mental health and overall well-being. We'll unplug from technology & embark on a mindfulness meditation and yoga journey in nature on a stunning beach. We'll slow down and reconnect with our breath & body in a spiritual and practical way that you can take to your daily life to bring peace, love and joy. Beginning with gentle meditation, breathing exercises (pranayamas) and mantras, I will guide students to the practise of yoga postures (asanas) focusing on the breathe and a still point of concentration making minor adjustments through the class. Finishing in a blissful and restorative savasana with visualisations and chakra work. This mindfulness experience is appropriate for those who consider themselves beginners to meditation & yoga and experienced practitioners! It is great for solo travellers, couples, friends, families, and birthday or anniversary celebrations. All are welcome! Amanda found the magic and benefits of yoga in her mid 20’s as a way to connect the body, mind and soul. After ten years practicing with teachers around the globe, and studying the different aspects of yoga, meditation and the effects on the states of mind and consciousness, imbalances, addictions and mostly anxiety she has been able to share a mindful breathing and conscious body movement. Born and raised in Brazil she has been living the past 6 years in the beautiful Byron Bay, Australia where she recognises home. Her dynamic movements will connect the body and breathe to help you remain present, centre the mind, develop strength and focus. This session will be located in Byron Bay Lighthouse. We will meet at the Lighthouse Car Park 10 minutes before the session starts so we can walk to the spot for ocean view.
