Join me for a traditional Provençal cooking class at my XVII century family farmhouse.
We will meet at my house at 10am.
I will introduce you to this family place and talk about the history of this Mas (old farm in Provençal language) and the history of the region.
Together, we will then prepare a four course meal (started - main course - cheese - desert ) using seasonal and local ingredients. Some of them will come directly from our garden.
During the class you will taste our Olive oil, homemade jams and of course local wines paired with the menu.
Lunch will be prepared in my personal kitchen and will be served on a terrasse shaded by oaked trees overlooking our Olive trees.
We will finish the class and lunch around 3pm.
The farmhouse is located 45 mins from Aix en Provence and 50mins from Avignon, 45 mins from Saint Rémy de Provence, 10 minutes from the beautiful village of Lourmarin.

Please let me know in advance if you have any king of allergies of dietery requirements.
Keep in mind that this is an old buildings with many stairs.

I was born in Paris and spent every summer at our family farmhouse in the heart of Provence. My grandfather bought this 17th-century farmhouse in the mid 1950s and since then my family has made olive oil.
I studied Food and Consumer Management at Birmingham University and work as a sommelier in England. Then I moved to Piedmont, Italy, to earn a Master of Gastronomy at the Slow Food University in Pollenzo.
Since coming back to Provence, I’ve been organizing authentic and unique culinary events all over the south of France—from Aix en Provence to Saint Rémy de Provence, Avignon, Marseille, Châteauneuf du Pape, and all the Rhône Valley—with the help of my mother and brother.

Built in the XVII c. by the Vaudois community in the Natural Park of the Luberon, the farmhouse was inhabited until the middle of the XVIII century. One century later at the begining of the 1950's my grandfather bought this farm which was left on its own for 100 years.
He spent 20 years renewing the house, bringing water, electricity, a new roof... Then my mother took over and 70 year later this house is still part of our family.

The cooking class with Paul was not just a cooking class it was indeed the whole experience. He and his mother were very welcoming and we instantly felt that it is a very special place, very intimate. Paul and his mother were welcoming us and it felt as we were friends already . The knowledge about the farm and small details were super nice and the tour was very much in detail. The cooking class itself was such an amazing experience, everyone cooking, wine, olive oil. It was first time in our holiday we actually relaxed and felt like on vacation, that there’s no worries. The food itself was so good and simple that we can make it at home as a beautiful memory of this experience. The special concern of Paul about local ingredients, sustainability and produce was very touching. Whenever we’re back in Provence we for sure coming back!

Paul has a really deep knowledge and passion of and for cooking is natuve Provence. His stories and cooking are very personal, and they resonated throughout our wonderful experience with him in his family's home. This was a very hand-on experience, and the food, wine and company, including Paul's brother Nico, was excellent. Our favorite was the tomato tart which we can't wait to try at home with the recipe Paul sent us. Thanks for a great day, Paul!

Definitely a must for any foodie who visits Provence. Paul and his entire family were very welcoming. They all greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of their 1600’s farm house that they restored. Beautiful. It was so much fun to cook our meals and they turned out beautifully and had so much flavor. I can’t wait to make what we had learned for our next family gathering! We were able to come away with new knowledge and more appreciation for the French culture and we feel like we made some new French friends! 😊👍🏼

A spectacular, very Provencal location where my husband and I were welcomed by Paul and his maman Ariane. We were joined by a warm, delightful couple from LA. The group was the perfect size and we six loved our full day together of prepping, baking, cooking, sampling, wining, dining, enjoying each others’ company and histories. The star of the meal was the yellow fig (from the garden) tart with jambon cru, onions, chèvre. Not only gorgeous to photograph but delicious to eat. The five local wines Paul chose to accompany the lunch were perfectly paired. It was a day well worth the cost and, for us, another airbnb experience to rave about.
