Join me for a traditional Provençal cooking class at my XVII century family farmhouse.
We will meet at my house at 10am.
I will introduce you to this family place and talk about the history of this Mas (old farm in Provençal language) and the history of the region.
Together, we will then prepare a four course meal (starter - main course - cheese - desert ) using seasonal and local ingredients. Some of them will come directly from our garden.
During the class you will taste our Olive oil, homemade jams and of course local wines paired with the menu.
Lunch will be prepared in my personal kitchen and will be served on a terrasse shaded by oak trees overlooking our Olive trees.
We only use local and seasonal produce so the recipes will change with the seasons. Alongside Provençal recipes we also teach fusion inspired cooking, creating dishes that are inspired by local produce and spices from around the world.
We will finish the class and lunch around 3pm.
The farmhouse is located 45 mins from Aix en Provence and 50mins from Avignon, 45 mins from Saint Rémy de Provence, 10 minutes from the beautiful village of Lourmarin.

I was born in Paris and spent every summer at our family farmhouse in the heart of Provence. My grandfather bought this 17th-century farmhouse in the mid 1950s and since then my family has made olive oil.

I studied Food and Consumer Management at Birmingham University and work as a sommelier in England. Then I moved to Piedmont, Italy, to earn a Master of Gastronomy at the Slow Food University in Pollenzo.

Since coming back to Provence, I’ve been organizing authentic and unique culinary events all over the south of France—from Aix en Provence to Saint Rémy de Provence, Avignon, Marseille, Châteauneuf du Pape, and all the Rhône Valley—with the help of my mother and brother.

Built in the XVII c. by the Vaudois community in the Natural Park of the Luberon, the farmhouse was inhabited until the middle of the XVIII century. One century later at the begining of the 1950's my grandfather bought this farm which was left on its own for 100 years.
He spent 20 years renewing the house, bringing water, electricity, a new roof... Then my mother took over and 70 year later this house is still part of our family.

We had such a fun time cooking with Paul at his beautiful farmhouse! We made some delicious food, and since it was a beautiful day we were able to eat outside and take in all the lovely surroundings of the farm. Paul and his girlfriend are such nice people! We had a great time getting to know them and relaxing on the patio. Eating, drinking and talking the afternoon away. I would highly recommend booking this experience!

Could not have imagined a more perfect day in Provence. Paul and his mother were an absolute delight, the ingredients were natural and local, and the farmhouse looked like it was cut out of a magazine. You’d be lucky to be hosted by them!

Paul is a fantastic host. he does us around his farm, sharing stories and future projects. the food was super fresh and aromatic and flavorful. we ate and drank to our content, and we even played a few games of pentanque. what a great day!

We had a great day with Paul at his beautiful place! We learned some excellent Provencal recipes and prepared delicious food from great local ingredients. We ate all of the freshly cooked dishes with pleasure, tasting local wine and olive oils. A much longer day than expected ended with several rounds of Pétanque. Altogether – we would do it again! Thank you, Paul, and our excellent companions!

On a passé une journée parfaite avec Paul. L’atmosphère pendant la préparation du menu et pendant toute la journée était conviviale et relaxée. Tous les produits utilisés étaient frais et les plats étaient très savoureux et typiques de la région. Aussi, Paul nous a donné des informations intéressantes sur la culture des oliviers ou la production de l’huile d’olive. On a beacoup profité de cette expérience et on la recommande vivement.
