As I welcome you to my home with a hot cup of masala chai &homemade snacks, we will walk through our plan for the day. After this, we get started with an introduction to Indian spices & our cooking techniques. Now the action begins as I handover you the recipe sheets & we start preparing a delicious meal, including two curries, a rice dish, one or two types of Indian bread & a yogurt dish.
Butter Chicken:- Succulent Chicken Tikka in a creamy tomato & cashew nut sauce
Lamb Keema:- Minced Lamb marinated with yogurt & cooked with onions, tomatoes, ginger & garlic
Punjabi Chole:- White chickpeas (kabuli chana) pressure cooked with a bouquet garni of whole spices
Gobhi Adraki:- Cauliflower & potatoes cooked with ginger & green chilies
Dal Tadka:- Flavorsome lentils cooked with ginger, green chilly, curry leaves & fresh coriander
Kadhai Paneer:- Fresh Cottage cheese cooked in a wok with onions, tomatoes & capsicum
Fragrant Basmati Rice cooked with cumin seeds
Veg/ Pineapple Raita
