Welcome to Windy City Vegan!
I look forward to hosting you in my home where together we'll cook a three-course seasonal vegan menu.
Each class will be 3 hours and be limited to 1-4 guests. The class will be a hands-on cooking class where you'll cook and eat everything we make. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with a glass of my world famous ginger tea. Then you'll receive a workbook containing all the recipes we'll cook together along with explanations for the nutritional benefits of each of the ingredients we’ll use. I will share a brief overview of my story and then explain the importance of moving towards a more plant-based diet. I will share with you simple ways you can increase your consumption of veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, and legumes.
Then we’ll start cooking, chopping and discussing the methods to cook the recipes. All guests will participate in preparing ingredients and cooking. Once the recipes are prepared we’ll enjoy the meal together looking out at the beautiful Chicago skyline from my River North Apartment.
Guests will leave with a nut milk bag to make their own almond milk at home.
