Learn to make your own macarons in two and a half hours with a French Chef in this small-group class. A must-do in Paris.
You’ll learn how to make your macaroons a rousing success. Based on the Italian meringue method, which is more technical but yields better results, you’ll learn how to macaroon your paste to get light, crunchy cookies and judge how done they are by touch. You’ll discover there is only one good way of holding your whisk to get a silky ganache, and pick up a few little tricks for a can’t-miss ganache filling.
You’ll be taken through each step right to the finishing touches. And we won’t forget to teach you about different types of garnishes like chocolate ganache, pistachios, vanilla, raspberries, chocolate shavings and passionfruit…
Enjoy your freshly made creations on the spot… or if you can restrain yourself from devouring them immediately, take them with you to prolong the pleasure.
Techniques :
– Petit boulé : cooking sugar to make meringue.
– Macaronner : folding in the batter.
– Dresser : piping the batter on a sheet pan.

We ask that our guests wear comfortable, casual clothing and flat comfortable shoes, long hair should be tied back. Please do not wear open-toed shoes or sandals.

Our chefs, Séverine & Julie are real bonbon. Their love of the art of pastry-making is one of their best qualities, one that has been enriched and developed through years of experience. Both are graduated from the International Culinary School Le cordon Bleu and from the France’s oldest hotel and restaurant training school, CFA Médéric.
French but open to new horizons, our chefs have spent several years abroad. This experience instilled in them the joy of sharing with other cultures, contributing a great openness of spirit and empathy for the excitement of voyagers in search of discoveries.

Our workshop is located few steps away from Montmartre. We’ve arranged the studio layout to provide you with a large, pleasant, comfortable space. Our kitchen is equipped with all the necessary materials so that each participant can work under the best conditions, without having to wait in line or take turns. The Rochechouart quarter has a commercial side as well as a leisure side so you can enjoy the Parisian mood stroll along after the class.

It was a great intro to macarons! We left with a goody box with our creations. It seems like they need to organize the class a little better when working with multiple people since everything is so time sensitive (6ppl in my g
class). Since I started mixing my merengue first, I had to wait for everyone to mix one at a time after with the instructor watching over (she was extremely helpful), so my batch was a bit different than the rest since it rested longer. I messed up one step during the process, and the instructor became slightly agitated, and that’s never a good feeling. I would probably choose a more intimate kitchen setting next time vs a baking school of sorts.

Julie was amazing. She greeted us and we got to work right away. Her steps were extremely easy to understand. I was there with my 12 year old daughter and she found it very easy to keep up with the rest of the class. I would definitely recommend her class to anyone visiting Paris!
