I'll guide you through the traditional area of my neighborhood, in Yanaka. I'll point out the stores I recommend. You will get the feeling of a real old town in Tokyo. When we arrive at my renovated kitchen, I will explain how to cook katsudon—one of the most popular dishes—and you will participate in the preparation. This class is at a beginner level ( compere my traditional menu, here is more enjoyable & Shar each other.) Menu will include katsudon (breaded pork cutlets or tofu), miso soup, Japanese style parfait for dessert. This menu I will use egg, dairy, dashi (fish broth made from dried bonito). Katsudon is mainly a breaded pork cutlet served with an egg on top of a bowl of rice. If you are lacto ovo vegetarian, it will be tofu instead of pork or if someone gluten free, i can prepare without gluten—just let me know in advance.
