You'll learn the shadowy history of the cocktail's birth, how it has influenced a vast array of modern drinks, and how to perfectly serve two different versions at home . This class is perfect for team bonding, couples, and groups of friends. Whether you are a cocktail rookie or established home bartender, the hour will be fun and educational!
Class kicks off with a quick icebreaker and moves swiftly into the past and present of the Manhattan. From there we will talk about ingredient selection and how to adapt this classic cocktail to your preference. Finally, we will make two versions of the drink together, utilizing proper technique and learning the art of the garnish.
At the end of the class, you'll walk away with a confidence in your Manhattan knowledge and a full cocktail!

I have been running bars and working in restaurants for more than half my life. After bartending at many different venues and working side-by-side with some of the best mixologists in the world, I can confidently say I'm an expert in the craft. I've won multiple awards, trained novice and professional bartenders alike, and studied cocktails diligently. I love and miss working behind the bar (thanks, covid!), so teaching cocktail classes has been an incredible way to continue my craft.

Such a fantastic class! Sarah was pleasant, personable, and EXTREMELY knowledgeable.
