Around the table with Portuguese food was a concept that in the last two years allowed us to share our vision of food with other persons, while we also shared our dining room and our history. During this time we received more than we gave and we learn new things about food and about the beautiful gesture that is feeding people and eat with them around the table.
Now we will start a new concept of dinner based in the experience and knowledge we got in our food researches, in our experiences and in our will of telling stories.
The Banana Brigade - a dining room tale is the new title of this event that is mainly a dinner-performance about food, about food politics and food love.
In this dinner-performance we will speak about food, about our gastronomic history, about what we learnt through the food we eat and we share with the others. We might share some useful insights, also some curiosities; certainly we have a great many questions and preoccupations about how to deal more fairly, carefully and healthily with the food process, and about diminishing our dependence on industrialized food systems with their powerful media exposure.
A big table of 18 persons will be the set and the stage for the tale and for the dinner cooked with ingredients that we grow ourselves. Is a unique organic, farm to table dinner-performance experience.
