Let’s explore the heart of my city by taking a trip back in time! We will begin at the old wharf where people and goods first stepped onto Texas soil. Then we’ll walk through Houston’s historic district and discover stories of notable residents while visiting Houston’s most important historical sites. We will end the tour at the site of a futuristic art piece made by a local Houstonian.

The tour is a 1-2 mile walk with a short free bus ride in between. Please let me know ahead of time about any mobility impairments as I may be able to adjust the tour accordingly. Street parking on Commerce Street is the best option. Please obey parking signs.
