After settling into your comfy room, we'll welcome you with a fun wine and cheese tasting in our garden, weather permitting, or if you prefer, you'll ride out on the trail with one of our experienced wranglers. Mornings after breakfast, evenings and each month on the full moon we ride out to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the Santa Monica mountains. It's an amazing horseback experience and you're invited! The terrain is varied so we'll travel over dry arroyos, through grassy fields and oak groves devastated by wildfires last year! After the evening ride dinner is unscheduled so you can try one of our great local restaurants or cook up something here; after the morning ride enjoy a picnic lunch alfresco followed by your choice of either free time to relax or explore the canyons on foot, hit the world famous Malibu beaches or for the more studious, enjoy a fun and educational plein air painting class where you can study and sketch our protected, majestic 29 oaks, the namesakes of our homestead. Either way the magic and fun continues throughout the day. Evening is time to help groom and tack up your mount, with a riding lesson included to tune up your skills. Then a home-style dinner here at the ranch or dinner out. Add-ons are available in notes section.
