Waterfront Guesthouse II on the Rappahannock

The “Beach House” is a guest cottage at Snug Harbor, a 2 acre private property overlooking the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. Perfect for a couple’s getaway, this well-appointed cottage has beautiful water views and includes access to our private beach & dock (with guest slip) with use of our paddle boards and kayaks. The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

The Eastern Shore of Virginia is famous for its flat tidewaters, but this property is perched amongst unusual relic Sandhills, complete with pines, gum trees and vast sea and sunset vistas.

1891 Coastal Charmer: fully renovated farmhouse

Built in 1891, this farmhouse has been totally renovated by a professional designer. The Cottage is filled with coastal colors and accessories so it feels fun and updated but still retains the feeling of walking into a well loved family beach cottage. We are pet friendly as any beach cottage should be and love seeing our guests and their pets enjoying the cottage. Nestled on acres and acres of waterfront, this magical property has its own cove for all the swimming, kayaking, SUP boarding and fishing you can manage. Come down the long private drive along the pasture to the little cottage perched on the banks of the river, surrounded by large oak trees. Its a simple, cozy spot with lots of outdoor spaces for spreading out.

We follow CDC recommendations for cleaning and disinfecting the space. One bedroom apartment (sleeps 4) situated above the main house garage w/separate and private access. Includes kitchen & full bath. House is situated on a quiet private beach overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. Enjoy fishing, swimming, evening bonfires+. Main house accommodates 6+ (separate listing).
