Allow me to welcome you into my family home for an experience of a lifetime. Enjoy a delicious, home cooked three-course Cape Malay meal and experience how the locals eat and entertain every day! You will also learn how to cook your own curry paste, a delicious curry, a fragrant aromatic savoury rice, and a sweet and sour sambal or side salad. Get you hands dirty and learn how to fill and fold one of our most popular savoury snacks in Cape Town, samosas. This delightful activity is fun for young and old and you are guaranteed to try it out again in the future! All the recipes will be shared with you once you leave which will enable you to recreate all of these dishes in the privacy of your own home. Your meal will end with a sweet little surprise for dessert as well as a soothing, healthy drink to send you on your way.. Other things to note Please arrange your own transport to and from my house. You do not need to bring anything—just a great fun-loving attitude and your willingness to learn and participate. And please do arrive hungry!
Boulders Beach - African Penguins home
I will take you to Boulders Beach the most remarkable viewing point of the African Penguins. These African Penguins have colonies from Southern Namibia and all the way around the South African coast. I will will make your experience rewarding as this is the only place where you will be able to swim with the Penguins in close proximity. Penguins are living in the wild and therefore although you get to see them up close and personal there will be no direct contact as I am committed to protecting the welfare of these little guys. The Penguin numbers are fast declining because of over fishing and marine pollution and my goal is teach tourists about our Penguin population, as they are now classified as an endangered species. As this is a private tour, there is flexibility in photo opportunities along the way, and including stopping to take pictures with the seals. Other things to note Bring your camera to take lots of pictures.
Experience the Stellenbosch Winelands
A celebration of smaller vineyards driven by passion, honesty and quality. Our first stop is on the Eastern side of Stellenbosch at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains. This is a special location tucked away in the most northern corner of Paradyskloof (Paradise Valley). Pockets of special vines produce a superlative and memorable first tasting. A journey through the vibrant and tree lined streets of Stellenbosch is up next. Steeped in history and charm we'll tell a few stories from the time we spent here during our youth before we reach the Banghoek Valley. Breath-taking views set the tone for an unforgettable experience with the focus on letting our guests understand the sense of place and taste. The award winning wines are brilliantly crafted and produced with the help of the location's very own microclimate. I struggle to believe there is a better setting to taste wine anywhere in the country. Lunch then takes place at either the Boschendal Farm Deli Restaurant or the restaurant at Zorgvliet Wine Estate. The final destination is at a cute family owned vineyard called Mitres Edge where we host the tasting privately in their underground cellar built below their family home often with one of the true matriarch's of the industry and her 6 doggos. 3 different wineries all unique in location, style and charm combining for a true Stellenbosch Winelands experience.

Discover premium local wine & vineyards with amazing views
Let's go on an afternoon wine tour to 3 handpicked wineries in Stellenbosch. I prefer visiting small family-owned wineries to have a more authentic experience. I can also plan the wineries according to your preference of wine. Various styles of wine is produced here, from sparkling to white, rosé, red and dessert wines. The idea is to get a good understanding of the local wine scene and what makes the area unique. Enjoy the scenic tour and wine without worrying about "tasting" and driving.
Whale and Wine Safari in Walker Bay
Whale Watching: After a 90 minute drive we team up with the best in the Whale Watching Business, Southern Right Charters. The trip departs at 9am and you’ll be accompanied by a specialist whale guide and dedicated crew on-board their impressive boat. The trip includes snacks and refreshments. The boat trip time is usually 2 hours but it’s not capped at that. *This is a weather dependent activity Vineyard Tour on a Safari Vehicle at Benguela Cove: You’ll be treated to a unique wine tasting experience in the form of a wine safari. Journey through lagoon bank vineyards on a safari vehicle as you set sight on a magnificent 200-hectare wine estate. Learn about growing cycles, farming techniques and first-hand knowledge of what the estate is about. We’ll will stop at various cultivars and allow you to taste the wines that have been produced from our vines. ⭐ Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike
We will be hiking up Lions Head, Cape Town's most Instragram'able hike. We plan to either catch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean or sunrise from the Hottentots Holland mountains. We enjoy some amazing photo opportunities before our descent. During a sunset hike, we descend in the dark using our flashlights (provided). During a sunrise hike, we may hike the first part in the dark using our flashlights (provided). This hike has been an age old tradition for locals especially during the full moon and on clear/windless nights/mornings where the lights of the city below dazzle and the moon and stars show off its beauty in the night sky. Other things to note Wear clothing you are comfortable hiking in. Ensure you wear descent pair of hiking/walking shoes. A fair level of fitness is required. You need to be comfortable with heights. Start times vary based on Sunset and Sunrise and it is critical that we start on time in order to witness Sunrise/Sunset
Hike Table Mountain with a Guide
We will hike to the summit of the iconic Table Mountain and experience why it's one of the New7Wonders of Nature. We will take our favorite more easily missed paths to the top. There are many routes that go up and together we will find one that suits your skill and confidence level. The trails all include a combination of hiking, varied levels scrambling and exposure to heights that will allow us to reach incredible viewpoints of Lion's Head, Twelve Apostles, Camps Bay, Back Table, and the Mother City. If you have a specific route in mind we can help you determine if it is suitable for you. The trails we do include India venster, Kasteelspoort, Skeleton gorge, and platteklip gorge but if possible and you are able we can do some more wild options. En route, we will take you into the world of the breathtaking Fynbos Floral Kingdom and the very first occupants of Southern Africa who named the mountain 'Hoerikwaggo' or Mountain in the sea. Once we reach the summit we will go to one of the awesome viewpoints to take some summit photos or just enjoy the view from the top. If the Cable Car Station is open then the hike will finish there, where you can then spend some more time at the top and soak in some more views or go and enjoy a well-deserved treat from the restaurant, my recommendations being their coffee, cold beer, appletiser, and milk tart. Other things to note Experience duration is dependent on the route and guests fitness and should take between 3-5 hours. The experience ends at cable car, if its closed then please add another 1-2 hours for the hike down.

Simon's Town discovery walk experience
Simon's Town discovery walk experience , is the story of a Town and its peoples journey through time and the impact experienced through varying political dispensations. Together we'll relive the optimism and pioneering spirit of Simonstown's early settlers to the unpredictable dark days of a world at war as her harbor serves as a stop off and repair dock for British and Allied battle scarred ships. There is the emotion and anxiety to be experienced as people of color were evicted and uprooted through Apartheid legislation of the 1960's. Still here in this quiet seaside village town "Die Stem" South Africa's national anthem is composed while records in our dusty archives reveal an experimental medical procedure that would eventually save many lives. Simon's Town is an architects dream and the site of a recent heritage and archeological find that has left many locals baffled. A steady walk up to our lookout point will give us a panoramic view of False Bay's pristine waters and spawning grounds of the majestic Southern Right Whale. The Town is host to a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, art gallery and African craft and curio market. As an end to our walk and a final goodbye, I will introduce you to Simon's Towns legendary mascot and every local pooch's hero, Able Seaman Just Nuisance, the only dog ever to be enlisted in the British Royal Navy.
